I really like the way that it controls! And I think that the animation really compliments the floaty feeling of the jump. It's really fun!
Thanks for playing. Feel free to rate the game 😊
i like the artwork and the control
some hints for the game:
-use slippery phys. mat for the collider the player wont stuck on the edges anymore
-the play button after the 2nd level doesn´t work in fullscreen mode
Thanks for the feedback! There is actually a slippery (0-friction) material on the ground but the main character got stuck anyway. I’m thinking I might have to edit the physics shape of the tiles to resolve it. Right now I give the hero a slight nudge if the game detects that it’s stuck. Maybe you have a better way of solving that?
I like how floaty the character is when jumping.
Minor gripe: You're holding left when you move to level two, which instantly loads and drops you off the ledge.
awesome find! Thanks 😊
Well done! I think the game is very aesthetically pleasing. For the mechanics, I would personally prefer less air friction because I feel really slow after I jump. I also agree with the previous person that having checkpoints would help.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep that in mind for future 2D platformer games :)
The style is really great but i found it really frustrating to start over in the first level.
Thanks for the feedback. How would you improve it?
Make a checkpoint system.
Will do for the next platformer in a Game Jam.
i love the amount of detail you put like the particles the character leaves behind and background!
great job!
Thanks!
Awesome artwork! I really like the jump/fall physics
